"A sensitive pianist" - The New York Times
Pianist and Music Institute faculty member Matthew Hagle presents a program that explores the way one piece reverberates through multiple times and cultures, making connections between 20th century America and a much earlier era. Bach’s C Major Prelude acts as a point of departure for a journey that spans some of the most beloved masterpieces of the piano repertoire, including works by Adams, Debussy, Chopin, and Liszt.
